Kids are amazing! They’re full of curiosity ✨, they have big imaginations 🌈, and they’re always excited 🎉. That’s why, if we teach them in a way that uses these awesome qualities, we can explain anything to them. The minds of children are so powerful! 💪
From my time running the Music&English school in Italy, and after wonderful and eye-opening times teaching in international schools in Phnom Penh, I know this for sure: games ⚽, colors 🎨, and fun stories 📖 are some of the best tools a teacher can use to help kids understand new things.
But what really makes a difference is how we talk and the pictures we use with our words. They need to be as simple and easy to see as possible.
To do this, teachers need to really think hard about the ideas they’re teaching. Nothing should be taken for granted. Everything needs to be explained. But it’s not just what you explain, it’s also how you explain it! 🤔
My way of teaching starts with this idea and grows in a fun and fresh way. And guess who said my teaching works best? The best teachers in the world: the kids themselves! 😊 I’ve been lucky enough to teach children from China 🇨🇳, Korea 🇰🇷, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Spain 🇪🇸, France 🇫🇷, Australia 🇦🇺, America 🇺🇸, and Italy 🇮🇹 (kids born in other countries too!).
I’ve learned a lot from great thinkers like Maria Montessori and the fun American way of teaching music. My goal is to teach by using fun, games, learning by doing, and using imagination to understand new things.
I can’t wait to see you in my classes! Remember, kids can start their musical journey from 4 years old and up! 🚀
